Here's the essentials about me (or at least what i've determined to share with you).

I grew up a Campus Crusade brat where my folks did ministry for 20 years growing up.  We moved to Julian in 1980 to join with a few other families including Josh McDowell in a ministry school that provided a 3 month immersion experience to train in the practical aspects of living as a follower of Christ.

I Graduated from Julian High School as valedictorian (out of 40 people, not so impressed any more are you)

I attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara and graduated in 1991 with BS in Physics-Engineering

I met my wife, Joanne, while in college and we were married six weeks after graduation.  She is an amazing woman God has put by my side to pursue life together.  In fact, you leave my site and go look her up at this point.

I spent 12 years with Fluor corp - I'm still a recovering engineer (12 step does miracles) before leaving the company in 2004 on a leading from the Lord.  A few months later Mike Hudgins decided to take a sizable risk in inviting Joanne and I to come on staff at VCC.

Joanne and I have 3 awesome kids that we homeschool together (hmmm, mostly her).
